WEST VIRGINIA: A West Virginia parent has come forward with a series of serious allegations involving the alleged abuse of their 6-year-old disabled son, claiming the case was mishandled by both local authorities and a hospital.
According to the parent's public statements, the child was taken to Thomas Hospital in South Charleston in May 2026 after an incident that the parent believes resulted in physical injuries. The parent says hospital discharge paperwork documented a burn and that medical staff photographed the injury during treatment.
The parent further alleges that when copies of the medical records were later requested for law enforcement purposes, hospital staff denied the incident had occurred, despite the parent stating they had previously received copies of the same records.
